100 g Ginger |
400 g Sugar |
2 cl Water |
Ginger Syrup Directions
- Coarsely grate the ginger
- Bring the sugar with the water to a boil on a low heat in about 5 minutes.
- Allow the syrup to cool and taste, if you find the taste strong enough, then sieve the syrup so that you remove all ginger pieces.
You can possibly let the ginger soak a little longer in the syrup. - Put the syrup in a bottle and close well

these can be stored for a very long time, but become darker in color.
