1 kg Potatoes
3 Leek
800 g Bacon, salted from the butcher
1 Egg
1 cube Butter
1 splash(es) Milk
Pepper, Salt and Nutmeg
Belgian pickles

Leek stew with bacon Directions

  1. Boil the potatoes.
  2. Stew the leek. You can also cook it with the potatoes, but I like it better when it is stewed and sautéed here and there.
  3. Fry the bacon.
  4. Mash the potatoes with milk, egg and butter. Season with salt, pepper and cloves.
  5. Stir in the leeks.
  6. Serve with bacon and Belgian pickles.
