180 g Beurre
200 g Sucre
1 gousse(s) Vanille
2 Oeuf(s)
300 g Crème fraiche (30% ou +)
50 g Crème fraiche (30% ou +) pour partie avec le cacao
2 g Sel
260 g Farine
6 g Levure chimique
40 g Cacao pûre

Chocolate marble Cake Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 160°C.
  2. Add sugar to a bowl. Melt the butter slightly (a little more than cream) and pour it into the bowl with the sugar.
  3. Mix vigorously with a whisk until you have a smooth texture. Add vanilla bean extract, salt and eggs.
  4. Mix well. Then add cream and continue mixing. Pour in the flour and yeast. Mix.
  5. Divide the dough in two and add the cocoa powder to one of them.
  6. Add liquid cream to the cocoa mixture. Mix well.
  7. Butter a mould (28 cm long). Start by adding three tablespoons of vanilla doug, then chocolate and so on until you have no more doug (it is best to finish with the vanilla doug).
  8. Take a knife and make several zigzags in the dough.
  9. Bake at 160- for 45-50 min. The tip of your knife should come out dry. If it doesn't, leave it in the oven for a few more minutes.
